Hello Tom,
In short what you’re asking for is not as hard as you may think.
It just takes a little working knowledge of Joomla menu and module system.
The key here is menu module > each module has an assignment parameter. If look at the main menu module by default you see that you can assign it to all other menus one by one.
So what you need to do is create menus for each section about us etc. via the menu manger.
This in turn will make a module for that menu.
Then assign each menu to show in its section only.
I know that it’s little crazy to get at first but just look around.
