Hi. I started using Joomla after discovering it was the CMS being used to run Thrasher Skateboard Magazine - Home . I really like the layout and functionality of the site.

They have blocks at the bottom of the page that show the latest post in a section, with a picture and a small description of the post. Is this something that can be done using the modules included with Joomla? Or is there some extension that needs to be installed to dynamically extract the pertinent information from the latest post in a category and feature it through a particulr module?

If you go to their site at look at the "Zounds" section near the bottom of the page you'll see what I'm trying to emulate. Any suggestions?
