Editing menu system on Joomla Template Kit

Hi

Ive just purchased the above and watched the whole video. Looks like a good extension and hopefully it should help me a lot. I was slightly dissapointed that there wasnt much on editing the menu system on the template, or was I missing something? Could someone point me in the right direction please.

Hello Rob,

Thank you for your support.
We cover only the Joomla Stock Menu system via the CSS.

The issue is that Joomla’s Menu System is a Module not part of the Template itself.
The there are a ton of free and commercial menu system on the Joomla extension site.

I’m thinking of making a system but this would part of another product do to the time it takes to make just an extension for a specialized product.

It is possible if you know PHP and some SQL to add a Joomla’s Menu system to a template but it just not worth the time with all of choices out there.

Also be on the lookout for video book I’m making on the Joomla 1.5 which will cover items that I could not cover on the Template kit. This will come out after I’m done with the 3.0 branch of the Joomla template Kit for Joomla 1.5 above.

I like swMenuMaker menu system but there are a lot of other good ones out there as well.
