Default Considering buying the Template kit

Hi,
I'm new to this site and forum. I'm very tempted to buy the Joomla Template kit and I have a few questions...

-I understand that template kit comes with 1 year of free updates and beyond the 1 year, an annual fee is required ( I think its $35?). My question what is the average number of updates per year? Like in 2007, how many updates were released until now?

-Will the template kit work for Mac?

-Is Joomla Template Kit 3.0 version coming out this year?

Thanks,
Anthony

Hello antmay,

I have not tested it on DWCS3 on the Mac only DW8.
I there is an issue with the Update xml wizard on some DWCS3 on the Mac.

As for Joomla Template Kit 3.0 I don't have deadline date set but I have been working on it and other Joomla relayed products.

Even doe Joomla 1.5 is RC1 there changes that go on daily so It can just put out a tool then rework the flow because they have change something again.

I can tell this the Joomla 1.5 rc right now has four template types
  1. Legacy
  2. Basic 1.5 Template
  3. Conditional logic with Parameters
  4. Template override
So you see that we have to be sure that Joomla Dev core stops adding or deleting
parts. Even CSS is added and deleted on a daily basis.

The way I'm going to approach this build is different that what you many be use to
but it will get done.

I will be posting news later on.

Cheers,
Brian Diaz
