Flashing favicon ?

Hello,

I have placed my favicon in the myjoomlafolder/images folder and it shows up when I'm in admin side.

It doesn't show in the extensions kit created template. I have replaced the favicon file that seems to be created with the other template files and folders but it doesn't make a difference, I still have the same favicon as this site shows ie the encircled globe.

BUT HERE IS THE STRANGE BIT, and the bit that I am hoping will give the clue to the problem. When I refresh the front end page my favicon appears briefly as the page is reloading but then goes again.

What have I done wrong?

Hello mcmuckle,

Hi it should be in your templates root folder where the index.php file is for your template.

If your still have issues because I think one Version Joomla was overiding the template favicon just replace the default one which is in the /root/images folder of your Joomla install.
