I'm using the Dreamweaver template kit to create my templat layouts. In this particular layout I intend to put the main navigation on the top horizontal bar. I would normally create a list in CW3 using CSS and as I am familiar with this I'm tempted to do this for my Joomla template but am I suppose to use the default Joomla nav and then adapt it to my needs? Which I think I'm suppose to do by calling the top navigation using the wizard in DW which will automatically put the nav in? I'm not sure how complicated this is do and to amend to my design, so I'm tempted not to do it this way but will this cause problems? Is the whole idea to use the set nav and adapt it using the CSS? Thanks
**This is my first time using Joomla** |

This can be done very easily with any third party menu module.
You Joomla directory download either free or commercial modules. Joomla! Extensions Directory - Menu Systems Install downloaded module via administration back-end Then via the administration back-end in the module manager Assign the module position in to the menu module installed. all you have to do is add module position for your menu. In your template that your designing. Best regards, Brian Diaz Media 65 |
