Smile quick question

Hello Brian,
As you see I have purchased and even followed another posts suggestion to try swmenu module, which has been great too. I made several templates easily, thanks for a great product. I have watched the vids and read posts here trying to figure out the best way to handle the "menu problem".
In short I noticed that you said are using swmenu and I am wondering how to make the menu relflect the changes that I make in swmenu. I suspect that I am not seeing any change because the navigation CSS file is overriding swmenu. If this is the case I must need to drop the swmenu CSS into the navigation CSS file? Do you have a brief answer or a direction for a CSS neo-noob? If you don't support this question I understand. Thanks in advance and keep up the good work, I am looking forward to the 3.0 docs!

I would have to see the code.
But it sounds right.

Joomla 1.5 Menus are better but tricky.
It could be that your using the wrong setting via the menu module.

Menu Style
Menu Class Suffix
Module Class Suffix

Play with it a bit.

Cheers,
Brian

Talking So true

Thanks again Brian,

You are on top of it today! My first two questions answered in less than 5 minutes. Even if this is unusual it is still outstanding!

It looks like the CSS (navigation) menu parameters are not changing when I export or save the menu in swmenu, so I am trying to figure out where swmenu sticks the CSS file when it exports. Then perhaps I can cut and paste it into the CSS navigation file.

It sounds as though swmenu is working for you without any extra steps on your part though. Perhaps I am leaving something out when I am creating the template. Thanks again for the help. I will play with it and post the solution when I find it, though it looks as if I have managed to generate a unique problem as it does not appear to affect anyone else LOL. Best wishes,

Michael N

Quite right again, I had entered _menu as the module class by mistake. Removing it and leaving blank restored the menu back to normal appearences although I need to play with it a bit more to get the swmenu to work, but I am sure that you put me on the right track to fix that too, Thanks again
