Default fatal error help

Fatal error: Call to a member function getTagName() on a non-object in /home/.kato/steinm10/survey.schematixdesign.com/administrator/components/com_installer/installer.class.php on line 167

I think I am doing everything right, but why am I getting this error when I try to install the template from the admin??

This is most likely your folder settings on the template folder on the web server.

I also see that you have open a support ticket on this issue
which I have answered.

I will have a forum for support in a few days but please for any one
reading this post use the support ticket system.

Default Here is a solution

The problem is comon. I think there must be three xml configuration files instead of one in the .tar.gz file. In order to install the component successfully, you have to remove from .tar.gz file those two fake xml files which have a slash and a dot in their names.

Thanks for your help but there are not three XML files in any of our templates.
if there are 3 XML files its an error on the users part by adding them to the ZIP file.
