Default Horizontal Menu showing as vertical...

Is this a result of the template kit? Just curious...
the buttons are stacked vertically and stretch the width of the TD

Don't quite know how to fix it.

I apologize - No - the site I'm working on. It's not public, I could email you the link if you wanted to see it.

Talking

Not to give a long winded answer here is what you may want to use
and its free.

The Joomla template Kit gives what works with Joomla out of the box.

But there a ton of very good menus system add-ons for Joomla
out there both free and Paid.

3 years ago I made a menu module for JScook menu system
based off of Rey Gigataras one of mambo and Joomla long time Core Dev members.

See: super old don't use it.
123 Web Kit - Jscook menu hack from How to Mambo

But there were some many good ones that I just didn't think it was worth the time.

See: Infinity Menus

Joomla! Extensions Directory

Main link to files:Use infinity_menus_V1-0-83-Stable.zip on Joomla 1.0.12

enjoy,

I will be adding a round up article in the future about this topic I'm sure someone reading this post will put one out sooner then I can get to it. It's Win Win for you guys great.

Cheers,
Brian

I'm just looking for a Horz Menu that can be implemented quick.

I hit horz in mainmenu - but it went vertical - I'll check out your links. Thanks

The issue is Joomla and its stock menu for horizontal is top level no sub levels.

See this post.
