Hi,
I just downloaded the new template kit 2.1 and went through the video. In it you said I assume you have a local server setup and joomla installed. I have JSAS set up and joomla installed but for the life of me I cannot get the jpreview to work. I set up the my_joomla_templates folder in the JSAS templates folder but the local host is the problem. Is there a tutorial on setting this or should it just be a standard address? After going through all the tutorial videos I am sure if I can get this jpreview to work I will be ok with the rest. Can you offer any advice. Kind Regards Kerry |

In my JSAS install, JSAS uses a port number 85 for local host. So the path I use in DW is http://localhost:85/pwf/public_html/ where pwf is my sites main folder and the public_html folder is the same as my remote servers folder.

Hi Guys,
I know that a local web server is not easy for a lot of people. I made one that works a lot easier then JSAS a few years back. See: 123 Web Kit - Home Free JoomlaStarterKit local Joomla web server and templates. But supporting this type of software is like a fulltime job in some cases. I’m going to make another system with a control panel and some type of update software. But first I have other projects to finish and take a break even cars get oil changes. As for your issue it’s as simple as where do you see your Joomla install in your browser http://xyz/joomla/ Copy and paste this address to your http:// Address field in DW and the Jpreview will work. Btimms thanks for the help. Cheers, Brian |
