JTK 2.1 and Joomla 1.5 Please Read this!

Please note that Joomla 1.5 is not a finished product.
This morning there were over 20 files changed and a database change.

So it's not stable. That said the Joomla Template Kit 2.1 does not officially support Joomla 1.5 Templates. Joomla 1.1.X templates are suppose to work in Joomla 1.5 in legacy mode if you switch on legacy support module via the module manager.

But sometimes it’s not the template issue at all. It's a file change to Joomla that are not stable.
The Joomla Template Kit 3.0 will officially support Joomla 1.5 Templates.

Don't break your head with 1.5 till it’s more stable soon within a few weeks if not longer.
In our next videos I will cover 1.5 Templates.

Joomla 1.5 is a work in progress the Dev core need to make changes to files that have an issue
sometimes fixing one side breaks another then they have to make more changes. So these are nightly changes that go on. So if you download a build the next day it most likely it will have some changes in it.

Will my Joomla Template Kit 3.0 update be free?
Yes if your subscription is up to date.

When will it be ready?
When it’s ready there are a lot of variables that go into the release of the Joomla Template Kit 3.0.
I don’t mean to sound like a grouch but I get the same question asked by a lot of people I guest yes I can get a bit grouchy that’s why I’m posting this. I love to say come and get it but it takes time to make.
