Hello all.

Here is the scoop on the Joomla Template Kit 2.5
I have re-written the new extension for Joomla 1.5.

What I’m still working on
·New CSS system
·Online docs and Help system
·How to tutorials
·And few other odds and ends

After I’m about 40 percent done with the online doc system
and most of the CSS we will go live with the Beta version of the extension
As Joomla has changes made to it daily. The online system will reflect any changes made to the
Doc’s for the extension.


Media 65 will soon offer two types of extensions.
Standard version & Pro version a feature matrix will be posted later.
We are also switching the Licensing model to a yearly subscription model
this will not take affect for a few weeks.

Current customers that have purchased our Joomla template kit will have lifetime* access
and free upgrades to the Standard version of the Joomla Template kit extension as promised.

Newly added features to the JTK Standard version 2.5 are.

1. Quick button to launch your web browser to view template
2. Single module include with condition
3. Single module name condition with no module include.
4. Multiple module name conditions with no module include
5. New base style sheets easier to read and edit.
6. “Jtemplate” page icons to view type of Joomla code in DW
Also some improvements in the UI operation etc…


We are also stopping development on the Mambo Template kit do to a lack of demand.
The product will still be available for sale at a discounted but will not have support for
Mambo CMS version higher then version 4.6.X.

I know that questions will be posted about the Pro version?
What will be included? The features are still up for debate but it will have layout wizards for faster
Template design and some JavaScript support for AJAX libraries like Yahoo’s and others.

This extension will not be out for a few months to come so if you have something in mind that you like to see in the professional version post it to the Suggestions & Feedback forum.
