Wink osCommerce Extension Wish

OOooh,

twinkle, twinkle, little star. How I wonder what you are. Up above the world so high, like a diamond in the sky.

twinkle, twinkle little star. I wish I may, I wish I might be an oscommerce extension in my near future. lol

I have been pulling my hair out lately. And why can't you find any really good templates, skins, or themes for FREE? I have found a few sites that offer free ones but they ain't what I want, of course. But looks like I'm going to have to settle what I can get.

forget osCommerce, completely outdated and horrible code, check Magento - Home - Open Source eCommerce Evolved (ready soon!)

I built a shop with osCommerce: biodelice online shop > worst experience ever

H mm magento not bad.
There are a ton of carts out there I test a ton.

osCommerce has a lot forks and extensions
for free its not bad plus it has a Quickbooks extension via third party.

But Templating it is a pain I done it not fun.

I do have other DW extensions I'm working after the 3.0 Joomla one.
That will work with other CMS etc.

As for one for a cart extension I have to see most carts use Smarty with DW does not love but I have made it work. Thing with cart systems there not one or two pages it a lot more so calls.
So making an extension takes a long time to make & debug and with with no control of the cart update cycles it a ton work.

I'll look into it but can't say Y/N.

Cheers,
Brian

Thank you so much for the link. I'm checking it out now.

@Brain

That's what I've heard. It is really hard with a shopping cart. Can't wait to see what you can up with though.
