Default Problem with updating XML file

Hi Brian,

First of all thanks for a great component. I have made several templates from the earlier versions, and upgraded to the new version now. My problem is that, every time I try to update the XML file I receive this message: Select a folder to read your template details from..... However I'm unable to choose the detail file... and if I press save, it only creates a duplicate file named XML....

Tried this on: DW MX 2004 and DW CS3

Any Idea?

Hello Anghus,

The flow of how the wizards work has change you need to watch the new Videos
on the setup and flow.

Now you can work on more than one template at a time and not have to map them each just once.

Cheers,

Hi there, I'm having a problem with the XML as well. I watched the tutorials and truly understand every concept and change(s) from the previous versions...

You said in one of your tutorials that people have mentioned that your XML procedure didn't work on a mac, and that you don't know why it doesn't work.
That you tested it and it should work...

Well there is a problem on a MAC... I have proof...
go to this web address and download this movie

http://infinitfocus.com/Media/Movie/XML_ErrorMov.zip

(note: I had to re-upload the file because of corruption... It'll be done in the next 5 minutes)

(Also Note: I won't keep this file on there for long do to it's size and bandwidth consumption)

Also don't think I'm attacking you or your product... On the contrary I love this kit. For every bug you have I just go around it. I'm not an idiot I can figure out how to fix shit... This product has cut my workflow down tremendously... And once you fix the bugs and add more features it'll cut my work flow down even more

Keep up the good work and fix this issue please...

Hello Gus358,

Ok I see hmm I think that it’s a charter return I make the Extension on Windows and test then on Mac.
I have not Tested CS3 DW on Mac. I have with DW 8 with out an issue.

Quick question did you setup your Profile the first time?

Thanks for mentioning the way people ask for help if it’s was trying to make them have a bad day something .

I'm working overtime on the 3.0 Version of the extension for 1.5.
There some changes that I need to address. So I can't tell you that I'm going to stop to address this but I will address it.

Most likely it's the charter issue I have seen it before its nuts having to think of all the things one has to check for Joomla DW OS Browsers. Love it or leave it I'm still in. So I'll just have to make a mac version of addressing this types of issues.

Hey just come back to PC just kidding I us both.
So for now I know this is a great solution but just copy paste the missing tags for a blank master template XML file.

Cheers,
Brian
